Santa Rosa County Emergency Management has confirmed that the westbound lanes of I-10 between mile markers 22 and 26 are shut down due to a brush fire. It is unknown when the lanes will reopen.

INTERSTATE 10 CLOSED DUE TO BRUSH FIRE NEAR BAGDAD/MILTON, FL… Heads up for folks driving westbound on Interstate 10 on this Tuesday afternoon. A brush fire near mile marker 23 (right near a construction zone too) has caused I-10 westbound to be shut down. Be aware of this if you’re traveling on I-10 today in Santa Rosa County.
