QUITE WARM THIS AFTERNOON; COOLER TEMPS THIS WEEKEND… Temperatures will rise into the mid to upper 80s across inland areas of south Alabama and northwest Florida on this Friday with highs in the upper 70s and near 80° closer to the immediate coast. Partly cloudy skies are likely throughout the day. The weekend will feature fantastic weather with slightly cooler temperatures. Dry weather will continue throughout the weekend and into next week.
SLIGHTLY COOLER TEMPS TOMORROW AND SUNDAY… Mostly sunny skies are likely on both Saturday and Sunday with afternoon highs likely to be in the mid 70s each day. Overnight lows will be in the low 50s with upper 40s possible north of U.S. Highway 84.
DRY PATTERN TO PERSIST INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK… Temperatures rebound into the low 80s in the afternoon hours of Monday and Tuesday of the upcoming week. Mostly sunny skies are expected on Monday and Tuesday.
RAIN POSSIBLE TOWARD THE END OF NEXT WEEK… Big question marks exist regarding the setup toward the end of the upcoming week. There are early indications we may have a few rain showers around but it is impossible to know specific details this far out. Hopefully we will get some beneficial rainfall around that time as drought conditions continue to worsen across the region.
