WARM THURSDAY; SHOWERS POSSIBLE TOMORROW AND SATURDAY… Another warm, nice weather day is expected across south Alabama and northwest Florida on this Thursday. High temperatures will be in the low 80s in most communities this afternoon. Isolated showers will become possible overnight into Friday ahead of a frontal boundary approaching our region from the northwest. Unfortunately, this front won’t provide a much-needed soaking of heavy rain. Spotty showers will probably be the norm tomorrow into Saturday morning. We’re seeing increasing signals of rain happening around the middle part of the upcoming week as well, perhaps just before Thanksgiving and just before a cooler shot of air late next week.

RAIN POSSIBLE MIDWEEK… Timing details continue to be a bit uncertain but we’re looking at another chance of rain likely around Tuesday of the upcoming week. This will probably be a rather quick-hitting system that brings rain to much of the region. Strong to severe thunderstorms may be possible. Please check back in for updates in the days ahead on this developing severe weather potential.

TROPICS REMAIN QUIET… The Gulf, Caribbean Sea, and Atlantic Ocean remain quiet with no new tropical storms expected to develop over the next 7 days. The 2025 Atlantic Hurricane Season will end on Sunday, November 30.
