Rain is set to continue throughout the day at times on this Thursday.
Right now, inland areas are having more rain than places at the coast. That will likely change a bit later with scattered to numerous showers likely all across the region.

COLD RAIN AT TIMES TODAY, TOMORROW, AND SATURDAY… Beneficial rain will happen at times throughout the day on this Thursday across south Alabama and northwest Florida. Rain amounts in total over the next several days will be in the 1-3″ range across the region. Temperatures will be in the 40s all day inland with 50s likely closer to the coast. Temperatures won’t fluctuate much at all over the next several days due to near constant cloud cover and rain around at times. Overnight lows by 6AM Friday will be in the 40s. Highs tomorrow will again be in the low 50s.
MULTIPLE CHANCES OF RAIN THROUGH THE WEEKEND… Multiple disturbances will be funneled into our region from the southwest today, tonight, and into tomorrow, paving the way for scattered to numerous showers. There will be breaks in the rain at times but overall, we’re set to have a consistently wet pattern through Saturday and into early Sunday. Just like what happened earlier this week, there is a chance a warm front briefly moves inland tonight into early Friday that could potentially set the stage for one or two stronger storms near the coast. At this point, however, widespread severe storms are not expected.
COOL, DRIER PATTERN EARLY NEXT WEEK… We start to dry out on Sunday evening. High temperatures on Monday will be in the mid 50s with clearing skies. Tuesday will be a mostly sunny day with overnight lows starting the day around the freezing mark. We rebound Tuesday afternoon to the mid to upper 50s. We finally crack the 60 degree mark on Wednesday when mostly sunny skies are likely.
