BEAUTIFUL, WARM WEATHER THIS WEEKEND; RAIN RETURNS AROUND MIDWEEK… Get outside this weekend and enjoy the beautiful weather! Plenty of sunshine is expected across south Alabama and northwest Florida this weekend. High temperatures will be in the low to mid 80s today, tomorrow, and on Sunday. Overnight lows will consistently be in the upper 50s inland with low 60s closer to the Alabama and northwest Florida beaches. Our next chance of rain is set to happen toward the middle part of the upcoming week as a cold front approaches from the northwest.

DRY WEATHER TO CONTINUE LOCALLY; STORMS IN THE GREAT PLAINS & MIDWEST… While an active weather pattern is set to happen across parts of the Great Plains and the Midwestern United States this weekend and into next week, south Alabama and northwest Florida are expected to remain quiet weatherwise with no thunderstorms in the forecast through at least Monday. Multiple days of tornadoes, damaging wind gusts, and large hail will be possible from South Dakota southward to Oklahoma in the days ahead.

RAIN POSSIBLE IN THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK… A few highly isolated showers may become possible on Tuesday and Wednesday ahead of potentially higher rain chances expected around Thursday of the upcoming week. For now, I do not see a severe weather setup, however that could change in the days ahead. I will keep you posted as I know more in the days ahead.

SUNNY THURSDAY & FRIDAY; BEAUTIFUL, WARM WEATHER FOR THE WEEKEND… Mostly sunny skies are here to stay today and in the days ahead. High temperatures will range from the upper 70s inland with low 80s likely near the immediate coast today. No rain is in the forecast through the weekend, meaning if you have outdoor plans, you should be in great shape from a weather perspective. Our next rain chance is set to happen in the latter part of the upcoming week, likely on Thursday or Friday (a week from today and tomorrow).

FANTASTIC WEEKEND WEATHER… Last weekend had quite a bit of rain around but it is a totally different situation this weekend across south Alabama and northwest Florida. Afternoon high temperatures will be in the mid to upper 80s with mostly sunny skies on both Saturday and Sunday. Overnight lows will be in the upper 50s and low 60s.

RAIN POSSIBLE TOWARD THE LATTER PART OF THE UPCOMING WEEK… No rain is in the forecast through at least Wednesday morning. Wednesday afternoon and evening may feature a few widely scattered showers. A cold front will approach the local area from the northwest on Thursday into Friday of the upcoming week, bringing with it a chance of rain. It is too early to know if severe storms will be a real possibility, but that is something I will be monitoring in the days ahead.
