SCATTERED SHOWERS TODAY; MORE RAIN FRIDAY NIGHT INTO SATURDAY… It certainly won’t rain all day in any given community across the region but we will have scattered showers at times throughout the day on this Thursday. Clouds will hang tough for much of the day. High temperatures will be a bit cooler than previous days with most spots topping out in the 76-81° range today. We have another round of rain and thunderstorms setting up for tomorrow night into Saturday.

INCREASING RAIN CHANCES FRIDAY… Spotty showers and perhaps a few thunderstorms will increase in coverage throughout the day on Friday into Friday night. A round of heavier rain and storms may happen tomorrow evening into Saturday morning. The Storm Prediction Center has included parts of northwest Florida and the Florida Panhandle in their low-end, Level 1 (out of 5) severe weather risk tomorrow evening into tomorrow night. This is valid due to a potential low-end tornado risk.

RAIN SATURDAY MORNING, CLEARING IN P.M. HOURS… Scattered showers and thunderstorms will likely be in progress in many communities across the region on Saturday morning. The overall coverage of rain and storms will decrease throughout the day on Saturday. Drier conditions are expected into the evening hours. Afternoon high temperatures on Saturday will be in the 60s and low 70s.

DRIER WEATHER SUNDAY INTO MONDAY… Mostly sunny skies are likely Sunday into Monday of the upcoming week. Temperatures will be quite pleasant with highs in the 70s on Sunday. Overnight lows will dip into the 40s and low 50s on Sunday night into Monday morning. High temperatures will be closer to the 80 degree mark on Monday.
