WARM TUESDAY; SHOWERS POSSIBLE THIS WEEKEND… Mostly sunny skies and warm afternoon temperatures are ahead across south Alabama and northwest Florida on this Tuesday. High temperatures will be in the 76-82° range with no rain expected today or tonight. High pressure will keep our weather pattern dry for the next few days before showers and a few thunderstorms become possible this weekend.

DRY THROUGH TOMORROW; HIGHS IN 80S… Tomorrow will feature another dry day with afternoon highs in the upper 70s to low 80s. High pressure over the eastern states will continue to limit opportunities for rain through Thursday and much of Friday as well. Nights will be considerably cooler than the afternoons, with lows tonight ranging from the mid 40s to mid 60s across the region.

SCATTERED SHOWERS POSSIBLE LATER THIS WEEK & INTO WEEKEND… A few showers may become possible Friday night ahead of higher rain chances Saturday and Sunday. For now, weekend rain chances are generally around 20-30%. This looks like a scattered rain setup rather than a widespread soaking, with some communities potentially missing the rain altogether. High temperatures will remain in the upper 70s to low 80s this weekend.

POSSIBILITY OF ISOLATED STRONGER STORMS THIS WEEKEND… An upper-level disturbance and a possible area of low pressure approaching the region could also support a few thunderstorms. There is some potential for strong storms, but that will depend on how this system develops. It is too early to pin down specific storm hazards or timing. I will be watching how the weekend setup evolves over the next few days. Rain chances decrease again by Monday.

TROPICS: ATLANTIC BASIN QUIET… No tropical development is expected over the next 7 days in the Atlantic Ocean, Caribbean Sea, or the Gulf. There are no active named storms, and the National Hurricane Center is not highlighting any disturbances for potential development across the Atlantic Basin. The official Atlantic hurricane season continues through November 30.
