Tropical Storm Humberto has formed this evening in the southwest Atlantic Ocean. The center of Humberto is 550 miles east-northeast of the Leeward Islands.

SCATTERED STORMS INCREASING IN COVERAGE… Showers and thunderstorms continue to become more numerous this afternoon across south Alabama and northwest Florida. As of 1:07PM, rain and storms are happening near Appleton, Poarch, McCullough, Bratt, Spanish Fort, Daphne, Millry, Gilbertown, Butler, and Needham.
More showers and thunderstorms are expected to pop up over the next several hours. Rain and storms will increase in coverage overnight into Thursday. It won’t rain all day tomorrow, but we will have scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms around.
Thunderstorms are happening near Atmore, Davisville, Pineview, Lottie, Rabun, Daphne, Spanish Fort, and Owassa as of 12:34PM.
