Beautiful Monday across much of the Deep South. Clear skies. A few controlled burns are happening across the region.
Prayers to the families affected by the horrible tornadoes on Friday and Saturday! Death toll is up to 40 across the U.S. including fatalities in Alabama. pic.twitter.com/0vspXhRY3P

BEAUTIFUL, SUNNY MONDAY; FEW SHOWERS POSSIBLE WEDNESDAY NIGHT… Overall, we have a much quieter weather pattern this week compared to last week with plenty of sunshine today, tomorrow, into Wednesday. High temperatures will be in the mid to upper 60s on this Monday. Low temps will be in the low 40s in many spots by 6AM tomorrow morning.
NEXT CHANCE OF RAIN WEDNESDAY NIGHT… The daytime hours of Wednesday and Thursday will be dry. Wednesday night into the pre-dawn hours of Thursday morning is the time when a few showers will be possible across south Alabama and northwest Florida as a frontal boundary slides through the region. For now, thunderstorms seem quite unlikely although there may be just enough instability to allow a clap of thunder or two. No severe storms expected this week.
