MOSTLY CLOUDY WEDNESDAY; WARMER TEMPS INTO THE WEEKEND… Temperatures started in the upper 20s this morning in many communities across south Alabama and northwest Florida. Low 60s are expected for afternoon highs on this Wednesday. That means we’ll be in the 40s and 50s for much of the day. Keep those jackets handy. Tomorrow, warmer temperatures are expected. Highs will be in the 70s on Thursday with 80s likely on Friday. Skies will be mostly cloudy throughout the day and into the evening hours on this Wednesday. A few rain showers aren’t completely out of the question in areas to our north in parts of central Alabama, but I expect south Alabama and northwest Florida to remain dry today.

NO RAIN IN THE FORECAST… If you have any outdoor projects that require an extended streak of dry weather, tomorrow the time to start! The spring months around here often feature wave after wave of rain week after week. This is a rare opportunity in the spring months to be able to complete projects outside that require dry weather! Take advantage of it as I suspect we will enter into a more active pattern in 2-3 weeks. That’s almost inevitable after such a dry, quiet pattern like what we are headed into over the next week or so.

DRY, NICE PATTERN INTO NEXT WEEK… There are no signs of any rain or storms in the next 7-10 days, thus it appears mostly sunny skies should be expected Sunday, Monday, and into Tuesday of the upcoming week. High temperatures will be in the 80s this weekend and early next week with morning lows in the 50s.
