SCATTERED SHOWERS THIS EVENING… Dense fog is happening in many communities this morning, particularly closer to the coast.
Partly cloudy skies are likely throughout the day. Scattered showers will become possible this evening. High temperatures will be in the upper 60s and low 70s.
A Dense Fog Advisory goes into effect tonight through 9 AM Saturday morning. Visibility will be reduced to a quarter mile at times across southeast Mississippi, far southwest Alabama, and the Florida Panhandle. pic.twitter.com/fWf8rBI2F5

🌫️Foggy night possible tonight across majority of the area. While some questions with clouds moving in could limit fog (hence why we do not have a dense fog advisory…Yet), there could be some areas late tonight into Saturday that see dense fog develop. IF (and that’s a *huge* IF) a scenario like what is presented here comes to pass, there is a chance the 2026 Atlantic Hurricane Season could be hindered by a developing El Niño.
Regardless, it only takes one storm to make it a memorable year. https://t.co/lfoKEQk7T6
