SPOTTY STORMS TODAY AND INTO THE WEEKEND… Scattered areas of rain and thunderstorms will be possible at times on this Friday. It won’t rain all day in any given community and we will have sunshine in the mix as well, per our summertime norm. High temperatures will be in the low to mid 90s today and on Saturday. Tomorrow is expected to feature a similar weather pattern to today with spotty, mostly P.M. showers and thunderstorms.
CONSISTENT FORECAST INTO NEXT WEEK… No real changes in sight in terms of the ongoing forecast logic, which is quite normal for this time of year. We’ll have at least some chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms each day in the week ahead. High temperatures may creep into the mid to upper 90s by late next week.
TROPICAL UPDATE: ATLANTIC BASIN REMAINS QUIET… No tropical storms are expected to form over the next 5-7 days across the Gulf, Caribbean Sea, or Atlantic Ocean. The National Hurricane Center continues to indicate that conditions remain hostile for development for any tropical disturbances across the basin. This is largely due to increased amounts of wind shear in the Caribbean and dry, dusty air over the main development region of the Atlantic Ocean.
