SCATTERED STORMS POSSIBLE TODAY INTO TONIHGT… The initial batch of storms expected to form to our west this morning has not materialized so far, thus rain chances over the next few hours have been reduced.
Much of the day across south Alabama and northwest Florida will be dry with only spotty showers and storms around. A more organized batch of storms will develop this evening into tonight – even those storms will probably be quite scattered in nature.
Rain amounts won’t stack up to very much at all. The kicker is – where storms do happen, some severe weather hazards may be possible, including a tornado or two.
Most communities locally will be fine today – have a way to hear warnings just in case a tornado warning is needed for your location.
