STORMS REMAIN WEAK JUST AFTER 5AM… The Tornado Watch has expired as of 5AM.

The once powerful storms back in Louisiana and Mississippi have faded into a weak, disorganized batch of showers moving across south Alabama and northwest Florida.

Cooler water temps over the northern Gulf likely zapped these storms.

Rain will continue to move east through Monroe, Conecuh, Butler, Covington, Escambia (AL), Escambia (FL), Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, and Walton counties.

Technically, a low-end risk of severe weather continues but at the moment anyway, that isn’t happening, thankfully.

IF any severe storms happen over the next few hours, the greatest probability will be right at the immediate NW Florida coast.
