TORNADO DAMAGE NEAR ELBERTA, AL… The first light of day on Monday will likely reveal more damage than what you can see here in this first photo we’ve received from southern Baldwin County, AL near Elberta. The area was hit by a tornado around 11PM. I have heard of no injuries so far but it’s the middle of the night and reports are often slow to come in until daylight. HEAVY RAIN ACROSS PARTS OF BALDWIN COUNTY… Storms are behaving exactly as we would expect on a low-end tornado risk night. Rotation in the sky ramps up then ramps right back down.
The question is will we get a circulation or two that can strengthen to the point of producing a tornado.
HEAVY rain is happening near Loxley, Elsanor, Gateswood, Seminole, Buc-ee’s, Summerdale, Robertsdale, Foley, and Elberta.

The Storm Prediction Center notes in their latest mesoscale discussion that there is a narrow corridor for tornadogenesis that extends from southern Baldwin County eastward to Destin.
