Today's forecast logic is right on track, so far, for south Alabama and northwest Florida in that all of the rain & storms have been confined to west Alabama.

The tornado warned storm in Clarke County, Mississippi (including Quitman, MS) remains weak. While it technically could produce a tornado, the signature is weak.

STORMS IN SOUTHEAST MISSISSIPPI… Thunderstorms that have prompted intermittent tornado warnings over the last couple of hours across parts of southeast Mississippi will likely weaken on approach to west Alabama. Why? Much lower instability across west AL, for now.
Rain possible in parts of Washington, Clarke, and Choctaw counties over the next couple of hours.
STORMS POSSIBLE THRU SATURDAY; COOLER AIR ARRIVES TOMORROW NIGHT… Active weather is expected today, tonight, into tomorrow in the form of scattered storms across the Deep South. This is due, in part, to an advancing cold front set to move through our region tomorrow evening.
This front will bring in much cooler, drier air. Highs will be in the 50s on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Overnight lows will be near or below the freezing mark on Sunday night and again on Monday night.
