EARLY EVENING UPDATE… Scattered showers have popped up across the western half of our local area. As of 2:25PM, we note rain showers are happening near Franklin, Atmore, Poarch, Perdido, Citronelle, and Fruitdale. Don’t be surprised if you have some rain showers over the next few hours.
Scattered showers and thunderstorms may develop much earlier than guidance has been suggesting. Now through 10PM, we’re upping rain chances to near 40%.
Severe storms are not expected until after 6PM. Most of the storms won’t happen until much later, most likely.
