LIGHTNING OUTPUT INCREASES… The storms happening near Repton, Castleberry, Appleton, Brewton, East Brewton, and Johnsonville are clearly strengthening. Lightning and thunder output has significantly ramped up over the last few minutes.These are strong thunderstorms capable of producing gusty winds up to 40mph. That’s below severe criteria, however. I’ll be closely monitoring these storms as they move north into Conecuh and Monroe counties.
