SCATTERED STORMS ACROSS REGION… A wet, soggy day continues across portions of south Alabama and northwest Florida as numerous showers and thunderstorms continue to develop and move northeastward. At the moment, heavy rain is falling along the US84 corridor between Gosport and Grove Hill. Heavy rain also continues on AL59 between Bay Minette and Loxley.
Storms are drifting northeast today. I expect that rain will continue to be heavy at times over the next few hours.
