FIRST “ALL CLEAR” OF THE DAY… We can now comfortably give all parts of Washington and Choctaw counties an “all clear.” The severe weather risk has ended in all parts of the west Alabama counties. Flash Flood Warnings continue for much of Washington County and the southeastern part of Choctaw County for the next few hours. We encourage NO driving in areas under the Flash Flood Warning as there have been numerous reports of water over local roadways. We also just got a report from Coffeeville in Clarke County of an evacuation due to ongoing flash flooding issues. The good news is the axis of heavy rain has finally shifted eastward. There will be lingering showers over the next few hours as cooler, more stable air moves in.

LIST OF “ALL CLEAR” COUNTIES… Washington (AL), Choctaw (AL). The severe weather risk continues for all of our other local counties. Flash flooding continues in west Alabama.
