INCREASING RAIN CHANCES THIS WEEKEND; TEMPERATURES INCREASING… Rain chances will be on the increase over the next few days as a warm, moisture-saturated, Gulf air mass takes control of our weather pattern. Today (Friday) will be mostly dry. There could be a few showers later this evening over Mobile and Baldwin counties, but vast majority of us should have no rain issues until tomorrow. High temperatures today will be in the low-60s. We’re looking ahead to next week when we could have a few thunderstorms around. Let’s talk details…
SHOWERS POSSIBLE THIS WEEKEND… Keep the rain jackets handy this weekend as rain chances progressively increase. We’re not expecting many (if any) thunderstorms this weekend but there will be a growing number of showers around, especially on Sunday. High temperatures will be in the upper-60s and near 70° in most spots with overnight lows around 50°.
STORMS LIKELY EARLY NEXT WEEK… Due to an increased amount of atmospheric instability and moisture, thunderstorms will become more likely on Monday into Tuesday. There could be a few stronger storms around, but it’s too early to give specifics on exactly where a severe weather setup might set up. We’ll bring you details this weekend in the RedZone Weather app.
