3 YEARS AGO: THE CENTURY-FLOMATON EF3 TORNADO… Hard to believe that we are at the 3 year anniversary of the EF3 tornado that moved through Century, FL into areas just east of Flomaton, AL. Many buildings in Century and near Old Fannie Road east of Flomaton were damaged or destroyed. Three people were injured in the tornado but NO fatalities happned. This was the first damaging tornado that happened since we implemented our nonstop tornado warning coverage policy.
