SUNNY & QUIET WEATHER FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS… Welcome to how late March weather should be! We’ve got a streak of nice, mild, sunny days ahead that will be pleasant and quiet across south Alabama and northwest Florida. No rain is expected until Sunday as a cold front approaches from the northwest. Let’s look at a few details…
SLOW WARMING TREND… Plenty of sunshine is likely over the next few days. We’ll be stuck in the 60s this afternoon and on Wednesday afternoon before we rise into the 70s later this week. Overnight lows will consistently be around the 40 degree mark over the next few days.
HIGH PRESSURE STAYS IN CONTROL… What’s keeping us nice and dry this week? A 1030mb area of high pressure is parked to our north, centered over the Ohio River Valley. That large dome of high pressure will keep our weather cool and dry through the end of the week.
RAIN ON SUNDAY AND MONDAY… Our next cold front is slated to move by on Sunday into Monday of the upcoming week. There will be sufficient moisture in place for showers and storms by Sunday. It’s still too early to know whether strong storms will be a concern. We’ll keep watching that potential and bring you the very latest over the next few days.
BUSY WEEK… I look forward to multiple weather presentations and meetings this week in Orange Beach, Fairhope, East Brewton, and Andalusia. It’s always a treat to be able to meet the great folks that watch our content regularly. Please don’t hesitate to come say hello if you see me!
