INTENSE STORM MOVING INTO MEXIA… The thunderstorm that is currently over Perdue Hill in western Monroe County “means business!” There is likely nickel or quarter size hail falling near Perdue Hill along the US84 corridor. This severe storm is moving into Mexia and into areas near the AL47 & US84 interchange west of Monroeville. It looks like the core of this hail storm will pass JUST south of downtown Monroeville. This means areas near Frisco City, Excel, Ollie, and the Monroe County Airport are under threat of large hail shortly. Be inside and do NOT be driving in this severe storm! Damaging wind gusts also possible.
