HIGH LEVEL ALERT TEST ON WEDNESDAY… We will have a High-Level Alert Test this Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at 1PM CDT in the RedZone Weather app. The forecast for Wednesday is dry and nice, so we won’t have to reschedule this because of severe weather. You should receive a push notification at 1PM Wednesday if you have the RedZone Weather app installed on your iOS or Android device AND you have allowed the app to send push notifications. This test will be done on a quarterly basis going forward. After the test on Wednesday, April 3, the next one is scheduled for Wednesday, July 3.
NEW VERSION OF APP FOR iOS RELEASED… Apple has just approved the latest version of the RedZone Weather app for distribution in the App Store. Version 2.5 completely revises the Alerts tab area, clarifying expectations for specific weather alerts. Several bug fixes and new features are also included in this update. Visit the App Store on your iOS device and install the update ASAP. The equivalent update for Android devices will be released on Monday.
