ALL CLEAR – SEVERE WEATHER RISK HAS ENDED… The moment we’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived (and right on time!). The severe weather risk has ended across Covington and Okaloosa counties, meaning this event is now over for our local area as of 4AM.

ALL CLEAR for southwest Alabama and northwest Florida for areas west of Destin, Florala, and Opp. The tornado watch continues for southeast Alabama and parts of the Florida Panhandle until 8AM.

LINGERING SHOWERS & MUCH COOLER TODAY… Isolated showers are likely during the daytime hours of Good Friday. High temperatures will struggle to get back to the mid-60s this afternoon as a cold front is now ushering in cool, drier, stable air into our region.

My next forecast video will be posted by 7:15AM on Facebook with the long form text discussion being available in the RedZone Weather app by 7AM. See you then!
