STORMS CONTINUE IN ESCAMBIA (AL)… Strong thunderstorms continue near the greater Brewton area late this evening. Very heavy rain is moving southward into Munson and Crestview. Storms are weakening slower than expected, but storms should begin to weaken over the next hour or so as daytime heating continues to decrease.
We note a few small showers and storms have popped up near Poarch and Atmore over the last few minutes, but these storms are small and unorganized.
I’ll keep watching radar trends over the next hour.
