STORMS ARE STRONG, BUT NOT SEVERE… Thunderstorms are loud, proud, and producing heavy rain across much of Covington and Conecuh counties on this Wednesday afternoon. As of this moment, heavy rain is falling in/near Andalusia, Opp, Heath, Gantt, Straughn, Sanford, and River Falls. Storms are also producing heavy rain near Brooklyn, Johnsonville, Paul, Melrose, and Old Sparta in Conecuh County. These storms are slowly drifting southeast. No tornado risk, but there is a small risk of gusty winds that could knock down a few tree limbs.
