SEVERE STORM APPROACHING MILLRY… A Severe Thunderstorm Warning continues until 7PM for parts of Wayne County, Mississippi, including the county seat of Waynesboro and a portion of the U.S. Highway 45 corridor. This storm is BROADLY rotating and giving us a radar signature that is suggestive of the potential for damaging straight line wind gusts in excess of 60 mph. The core risk with this storm will pass near or over Millry, Shady Grove, and areas near the Washington County Public Lake in the next 30 minutes or so. I would not be surprised if a new Severe Thunderstorm Warning is needed for northern Washington and southern Choctaw counties in west Alabama shortly. Watching radar trends carefully.
