SUNNY TODAY; RAIN POSSIBLE TONIGHT; COOLER WEDNESDAY… Mostly sunny skies will be in place across south Alabama and northwest Florida on this Tuesday ahead of a few showers and maybe a few rumbles of thunder tonight into early Wednesday morning. No severe weather issues are expected and I expect the overall coverage of rain to be pretty sparse. High temperatures today will be variable across the region with inland areas near Thomasville only peaking in the 70s while much of northwest Florida, south central Alabama, and coastal stretches of Alabama peaking around 80 degrees. Cooler air is set to arrive tonight as a cold front moves by. We’re also looking ahead to our next more significant chance of rain during the upcoming weekend.
