RAIN AT TIMES TODAY; SNOW SEEMS UNLIKELY NEXT WEEK… Keep the umbrellas and rain jackets close by today as scattered showers will continue to be possible throughout the day. High temperatures will only be in the low- to mid-50s, pointing to a fairly miserable, chilly day with all the rain around. No severe weather is expected today.
I will have a more detailed post later about this today, but as of now, it looks like our precipitation late next week across south Alabama and northwest Florida will be rain and not mixed precipitation or snow. I’ll keep watching trends, but the consistent trend notable across different models as of late has been to keep much of Alabama in the “rain zone” with a focus for the snow/ice potential to our north.
Have a great Saturday!
