INCREASING CLOUDINESS TODAY; MORE RAIN TONIGHT INTO TUESDAY… If you’re in an area with sunshine this morning, get out and enjoy it as the next few days will unfortunately be cloudy with rain at times. Rain chances will rise later this evening yet again but not before a dry Monday. Clouds will increase in coverage across our region today from west to east. High temperatures will be in the mid-60s. We have an unsettled, wet week ahead with multiple chances of rain. Unfortunately for the winter weather fans, there continues to be very little evidence to support the inclusion of any snow or mixed precipitation in our 7 Day Forecast. I’ve got all of your Monday morning forecast details below.

CLOUDS INCREASE TODAY… We are already seeing some spots locally with cloud cover increasing this morning. Most locales will be near overcast this evening ahead of a few showers becoming possible after sunset. High temperatures on this Monday will be in the mid-60s. Rain chances will remain low through early evening but we will call it a 10-20% chance of showers after sunset. Rain chances will steadily rise in the overnight hours.

MORE RAIN TONIGHT INTO TUESDAY… There is a high (60-70%) chance of rain on Tuesday morning, extending into the afternoon and evening hours. There is a chance of a few thunderstorms near the immediate coastal zones, but for now, severe weather continues to seem quite unlikely. Highs on Tuesday will rise into the upper-60s. You’ll want to keep the rain gear handy throughout the day not only on Tuesday but into Wednesday and Thursday as well.

SHOWERS & STORMS AT TIMES ON WEDNESDAY INTO THURSDAY… Rain and perhaps a few thunderstorms will be possible on Wednesday and Thursday ahead of the passage of a cold front late Thursday night. High temperatures will be in the low- to mid-70s both days, meaning our area will be in the warm, humid sector allowing for a few thunderstorms to be possible. I do not anticipate severe storms being an issue at this time despite some forcing being present with the advancing cold front.

COOLER AIR ARRIVES FRIDAY & THIS WEEKEND… Rain chances will diminish somewhat as cooler air arrives from the north Friday and Saturday. Highs will drop to around 60 with morning lows likely to be in the 30s by Sunday morning.
