STORMS OFFSHORE… As of 11:04AM, showers and thunderstorms remain offshore. We are beginning to see the first of the daily thunderstorms popping up across inland areas of southwest Alabama in parts of northwestern Clarke County. More showers and thunderstorms will likely pop up over the next several hours.
Widespread severe weather is not expected today, but one or two of the storms may briefly become strong or marginally severe.
