NICE FEW DAYS AHEAD; COLD NIGHT AHEAD… After a chilly start this morning with temperatures in the upper-30s farther inland and low-40s south of U.S. Highway 84, temperatures will rebound into the mid- to upper-60s this afternoon. Lingering clouds will fade away by lunchtime and I expect sunny skies this afternoon into this evening. Overnight lows will briefly dip into the upper-30s in inland communities on Sunday morning with 40s likely closer to the coast. Sunny skies are ahead for Sunday with highs near 70. Temperatures will be in the mid-70s for highs by midweek. Another cold front will arrive Thursday evening into Friday, bringing with it a reinforcing shot of cold air.

TROPICS QUIET; WANDA TO FADE AWAY… No tropical storms are expected to develop in the Gulf of Mexico or in the Caribbean Sea over the next 5-7 days. Tropical Storm Wanda is set to become extratropical tomorrow or Monday in the northeastern Atlantic Ocean. The remnants of Wanda are expected to bring rain and gusty winds to parts of Ireland and the United Kingdom early next week. The Atlantic Hurricane Season officially comes to an end on November 30.
