CLEARING SKIES LATER TODAY; NO MORE SEVERE WEATHER THRU THE WEEKEND… Whew! We finally get an extended break from severe weather starting on this Wednesday. Rain and thunderstorms will continue to progressively move east and away from our local area. High temperatures this afternoon will be in the upper-60s farther inland and closer to the mid-70s near the Alabama and northwest Florida beaches. Full sunshine is expected in the days ahead with mild days and cool nights on tap.
SUNNY THROUGH THE WEEKEND… Full sunshine is ahead for Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. High temperatures will be in the upper-60s tomorrow, rising to around 73 degrees by Sunday. Overnight lows will consistently be in the 40s across the region over the next several nights. No rain is expected through Sunday.
MOSTLY SUNNY EARLY NEXT WEEK… Other than a few passing clouds on Tuesday, I expect Monday and Tuesday to be relatively quiet as well. High temperatures will rise into the 80s with morning lows in the 50s early next week. A rain chance may set up on Wednesday or Thursday next week, but it is a bit too early for specifics. We remain in severe weather season through early May, thus we will watch this next system carefully. No reason to think twice about it or be concerned at this point. I’ll keep you posted!
