MOSTLY SUNNY TODAY; FEW SHOWERS & STORMS POSSIBLE SATURDAY… Plenty of sunshine is in store for south Alabama and northwest Florida on this Friday. High temperatures will be in the mid-70s this afternoon. We could have a few showers across the region tomorrow (Saturday). The greatest rain chances will happen near the Alabama and northwest Florida beaches. Rain chances are not particularly high for any given area, however, and there is a real chance many communities may remain completely dry on Saturday. More sunshine is ahead for Sunday into Monday ahead of more active weather on Tuesday into Wednesday. Strong to severe thunderstorms may be possible under some scenarios next week.
