TROPICS TO REMAIN QUIET FOR FORESEEABLE FUTURE… While far from over, the first two months of hurricane season have been cooperative with only 3 named storms so far. The good news is I see no signs of any tropical activity in the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea, or the Atlantic Ocean in the next 5-7 days. Hopefully our long, quiet streak in the tropics will continue! August, September, and October are historically our most active hurricane season months.
Locally, more pop-up storms are ahead tomorrow afternoon and evening. High temperatures will be in the 90s on Wednesday with heat index values in the low-100s. I will have your next detailed RedZone Weather forecast video posted by 7:15AM tomorrow morning. Have a nice Tuesday evening!
