SUNSHINE THIS WEEKEND WITH STORMS IN THE MIX… Thunderstorms are slated to pop up across the region today and on Saturday and Sunday as our seasonal summer weather pattern continues. Most of the thunderstorms, just like the last several days and weeks, will pop up in the afternoon and evening hours. High temperatures today and over the next few days will be around the 90 degree mark.
SCATTERED STORMS TO CONTINUE NEXT WEEK… Pop-up thunderstorms are slated to continue on Monday, Tuesday, and into Wednesday of the upcoming week. Our overall weather pattern is fairly stagnant, which is seasonal this time of year. Tropical storms and hurricanes are typically the thing that can “throw a major wrench” into our summertime pattern this time of year, and we (fortunately) see none of those on the horizon anytime soon. Next week, plan for more pop-up storms each day with high temperatures yet again in the 90s.
TROPICS QUIET… The Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea, and Atlantic Ocean remain quiet with no new tropical storms and hurricanes expected to form over the next 5-7 days.
