FINALLY! DRIER DAYS AHEAD WITH COOLER NIGHTLY TEMPS… Overnight lows on Tuesday will be around 60 degrees but by Wednesday morning at 6AM, many communities across south Alabama and northwest Florida will start off in the mid-50s! For farmers who need to cut hay, this will be the driest three day stretch we have had since the spring. Mostly sunny skies are expected Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday ahead of low (not zero) rain chances on Friday and into the weekend. Step outside early tomorrow or early Wednesday to really enjoy this “cool snap.” Temperatures will quickly rebound into the 80s in the afternoon hours.
TROPICS QUIET, FOR NOW… The Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean Sea remain quiet this evening with no tropical storms expected to form over the next 5 days. Two tropical waves in the Atlantic Ocean are moving west with low-end chances of becoming tropical storms in the days ahead. No imminent concerns as of now. Excellent news!
We certainly have had our fair share of wild weather and extreme temps over the last 2 years. Let’s enjoy the fantastic weather and quiet tropics while we can!
