SPOTTY SHOWERS… Isolated showers are happening across the region this afternoon. Heavier storms are occurring over the Mississippi Sound and parts of southeast Mississippi. I expect more storms to pop up over the next several hours across south Alabama and northwest Florida. Be ready for scattered downpours into this evening.
FLOOD WATCH CANCELLED… The local National Weather Service has cancelled the Flood Watch that was in place for coastal counties. Rainfall rates are not expected to be high enough to warrant the watch anymore.
