SCATTERED RAIN & STORMS… Pockets of heavy rain and a few embedded thunderstorms continue to move east across the region on this Saturday afternoon. Rain is heaviest at the moment near Wilmer, Big Creek Lake, Bromley, Wing, and Escambia Farms.
Scattered storms will continue to be possible through the evening hours. Keep the rain jackets handy!
The Storm Prediction Center has downgraded the severe weather risk to a Level 1 (out of 5) risk zone for coastal communities. It would be more surprising than not if we have any strong or severe storms happen across southwest Alabama or northwest Florida over the next few hours before rain and storms clear out to the east.
