SUNNY AND MILD THIS AFTERNOON; DRY DAYS THROUGH FRIDAY… Plenty of sunshine is expected across south Alabama and northwest Florida on this Tuesday. High temperatures will be in the upper-50s farther inland and in the low-60s across much of the local area. No rain is expected anywhere close by today, however there may be a few sprinkles and light rain showers across the northern half of Alabama later today.
FEW SHOWERS WELL TO OUR NORTH TODAY… An area of low pressure will slide from northwest to southeast across parts of Kentucky and Tennessee later today. This feature will cause a few showers across the northern halves of Alabama and Georgia this afternoon into this evening. No rain is expected south of the U.S. Highway 80 corridor in Alabama.
DRY CONDITIONS THROUGH FRIDAY… Mostly sunny days are in the forecast through Friday. High temperatures will be in the 60s today, tomorrow, and on Thursday with overnight lows in the 30s and low-40s.
RAIN LIKELY AT TIMES SATURDAY P.M. INTO SUNDAY… Showers and thunderstorms will become numerous across the local area late Saturday into Sunday. For now, severe weather parameters remain fairly low but trends are being monitored in case we see a low-end severe weather threat materialize for Sunday morning. Highs will be in the low-60s on Saturday and Sunday with overnight lows in the 40s.
