INCREASING CLOUDINESS TODAY; RAIN RETURNS SUNDAY… Skies will gradually shift from mostly sunny to mostly cloudy later today as clouds stream in from the southwest. Take it easy if you’re driving this morning as there are several communities with dense fog in place. Patchy areas of dense fog this morning will burn off by 9-10AM. High temperatures will be in the mid-80s in most communities this afternoon. Skies will generally remain mostly cloudy tomorrow and Thursday but I am not expecting rain until the weekend.
SHOWERS & STORMS POSSIBLE SUNDAY… Friday and Saturday will likely be dry ahead of increasing chances of rain on Saturday night into Sunday. Thunderstorms will be possible ahead of an advancing cold front that will knock down temperatures from the mid-80s on Saturday to the mid- to upper-70s on Sunday. Highs on Monday of the upcoming week may very well only be near the 70 degree mark. For now, the overall risk of any severe storms on Sunday continues to seem rather low.
