STORMS NEAR FOREST HOME & OLD TEXAS… As of 2:12AM, heavy rain and loud thunderstorms are happening near Lyeffion, Old Texas, Forest Home, and Pine Apple. These storms are moving east into Butler County. This cluster of storms is moving into an area dominated by outflow winds from storms that happened earlier, meaning storms should continue to be below severe limits. Loud, yes, but not tornado or damaging wind-producing storms.

STORM NEAR APPLETON & CASTLEBERRY… The thunderstorm happening near Appleton, Castleberry, and areas just north of Brewton remains below severe limits. This storm is producing loud thunder as it moves northeast toward Johnsonville and Brooklyn.

STORMS NEAR JACKSON… Loud storms are also happening near Jackson and Gainestown in southern Clarke County. These storms are also below severe limits while pushing toward Gosport, Suggsville, and the Alabama River near Perdue Hill.

STRONG STORMS IN SOUTHEAST MISSISSIPPI… Our next, more significant concern may the thunderstorms that have organized in southeast Mississippi in parts of Wayne and Greene counties. These storms will ultimately move into Washington and Mobile counties over the next 30-45 minutes. The environment ahead of this particular set of storms is a bit more primed for severe weather. Be ready for possible warnings in Mobile and Washington counties.
