STRONG STORMS NEAR EVERGREEN… Heavy rain and thunderstorms near Evergreen, Belleville, Lyeffion, and Owassa are moving east near the Alabama Highway 83 corridor in Conecuh County. These storms are producing localized downpours and quite a bit of lightning. Heads up for folks near Grace, Garland, Wilcox, Georgiana, and McKenzie. These storms are moving toward these communities now.
STORMS NEAR THOMASVILLE… Heavy downpours of rain are also happening in northern Clarke County, AL near Thomasville, Bashi, Tallahatta Springs, and Sandflat. These storms along with the storms in western Wilcox County near Pine Hill and Yellow Bluff are moving eastward.
STORMS IN COVINGTON COUNTY… Thunderstorms near Andalusia, Babbie, Sanford, Opp, Onycha, Libertyville, Florala, and Lockhart are also moving east this evening. Theses storms will move into parts of Coffee and Geneva counties shortly.
More thunderstorms are likely to pop up over the next few hours. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch continues for counties to our north across parts of west-central Alabama until 9PM.
