Absolutely ludicrous. Typhoon Gaemi makes a sharp unexpected turn south right before slamming the coast, then loops around and is now headed for the 2nd attempted landfall. Friction from the large mountains likely played the role in this. 1/ pic.twitter.com/exLHpS2hBn
