TASTE OF FALL COMING NEXT WEEK… Overnight lows will be in the 50s in about one week with highs in the low-80s. It is really going to feel like fall next week with an extended streak of dry weather expected after this weekend. Rain will be possible at times tomorrow, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, particularly in areas closer to the immediate coast. Lots of sunshine is expected next week with cooler air arriving on or around Wednesday.

TROPICAL SYSTEM WEAK AND DISORGANIZED… The tropical disturbance I have been tracking over the last several days in the western Caribbean Sea remains weak, disorganized, and does not appear set to get any better organized tonight or tomorrow. The National Hurricane Center has lowered the development probabilities to a 30% chance. Most of the major model guidance takes the system as a fairly weak system into the Florida Peninsula in a few days. This will be a big rainmaker for the Gulf of Mexico and potentially for the Florida Peninsula (not the Panhandle). NO major model guidance shows movement toward Alabama or northwest Florida at this point. That could change, but the trends have been 100% positive over the last few days. I’ll let you know if we have any major changes.

I will have your next full forecast video posted by 7:15AM tomorrow morning. Have a good Wednesday evening!
