NICE WEATHER THIS WEEKEND; QUIET TROPICS IN GULF… Temperatures will truly feel like fall today, tomorrow morning, and into the weekend. We have a picture perfect weather weekend for south Alabama and northwest Florida with dry conditions expected to persist into next week. This will be a beautiful streak of sunny, nice days. We also have some much cooler air set to arrive in the middle part of the upcoming week. High temperatures over the weekend will be close to the 80 degree mark with morning lows in the 50s. The middle of next week, however, will feature high temperatures in the low-70s with lows well into the 40s. Sunny, nice days ahead locally.
TROPICAL UPDATE… There is no discernible tropical threat for Alabama or northwest Florida over the next 7 days. We continue to monitor Tropical Storm Leslie in the open waters of the eastern Atlantic Ocean. The National Hurricane Center issued its final advisory on the system that once was Hurricane Milton. That system will pass south of Bermuda in the days ahead as it moves out to sea. No tropical issues anytime soon for Alabama or northwest Florida!
