Today will be the warmest day of the week as significantly cooler air is set to arrive behind an advancing cold front. Overnight lows later this week will be in the 40s with highs closer to 70 by Wednesday. We have a full supply of sunshine in the forecast over the next few days.
TROPICAL UPDATE… The Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean Sea are quiet with no new tropical storms expected to form over the next 5-7 days. No direct tropical/hurricane impacts are expected in Alabama or northwest Florida over the next 5-7 days. We are watching a tropical wave well out in the Atlantic Ocean that now has a 40% chance of becoming a named tropical storm as the system moves west toward the northern Leeward Islands.
