NICE, MILD WEATHER TODAY AND TUESDAY; HIGHS IN 50s FOR NEW YEAR’S DAY… Sunshine and mild temperatures are expected across south Alabama and northwest Florida on this Monday. High temperatures will be in the upper 60s and near 70. Passing clouds will become possible on New Year’s Eve but the overall chance of any rain remains quite low. Much cooler air arrives on New Year’s Day on Wednesday after the passage of a cold front. Highs on Wednesday and Thursday will be in the 50s.
NEW YEAR’S EVE FORECAST… If you’re ringing in 2025 at an outdoor event, you’ll need the jacket as a cold front will have just passed through our region. Temperatures at 7PM on New Year’s Eve will be in the 50s, but we’ll have temperatures in the mid 40s by midnight on Tuesday night as we ring in the new year. Fortunately, dry conditions are expected across the region with no rain or precipitation.
